The Usage of Wetbond-SP and Retona Blend 55 on Hotmix Asphalt

The flexible pavement layers are very susceptible to damage due moisture or water. Excess on any of can cause before the designed lifetime. To improve quality layers, modifications asphalt mixtures required. This study aims compare performance asphaltic mixture that was constructed by using two different additives, which Wetbond-SP and Retona Blend natural aggregates. There were three tests conducted for each sample variation in this study, namely Marshall, Cantabro Loss, Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) tests. From test results, it found adding 55 resulted better ITS results compared mixed with Wetbond-SP.
